Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweet Hear

Today I have something a bit different, my first makeup review on the Glitter Lizard! I decided to try out the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 025 Sweetheart Valentine.
Okay, first off I'd like to say I do not like lip products. I know, I know. Beauty junkie who doesn't like lip stuff? Crazy. But most days some lip balm is all I want. My problem is I like color but not lipstick, shine but not gloopy glosses, and lasting color but have dry lips that don't fare well with most stains.
This product, however, is the solution!
Beautiful, bright, long lasting color in a balm form.

Application is simple with the chubby pencil shape, good for shaping lips. It has a light balm feel and is literally weightless on the lips. The main problem I have with lipstains is my lips are very dry so the marker type application isn't great. With the balm formula my lips were hydrated and happy! I didn't even need an additional balm on top. Also, this product has a nice, slight peppermint scent.
The color is initially very glossy and then once the gloss wears away, you are left with a beautiful flushed stain. (Very kissable!)

The shade 025 Sweetheart is a bright pink, somewhere in the middle of the range Revlon offers. The color  reminds me of lips after you've been eating a strawberry popsicle or lollipop.
This was the first lip product I've like in a long time, and I know I'm going to pick up a few more. I found mine at Walmart for about $7. All around, the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is a winner in my books.

Here's how it wore over time on me, with eating and drinking between shots!
 Right after application
30 minutes after application
 1 hour after application

4 hours after application (this stained color lasted for 8+ hours overall!)

For Audrey and Dreamy Glitter

This post features my current nails and manicure, and they are little nubs currently. I had to cut them short while at a hospital stay. So to cheer myself up, I went for one of my all time favorite polishes- China Glaze's For Audrey. Then to make it even more happy I layered NYX Girls Dreamy Glitter on top.
For Audrey is a classic Tiffany blue creme and Dreamy Glitter has two iridescent glitters, small round and hexagon, that shift from gold to blue to pink, and pink star shaped glitters suspended in a clear base. The stars are even through out and easy to get out for a shaped glitter (No fishing around!). The pale pink stars on the light turquoise make for a super cute and easy mani.

Pretty (and dreamy) glitter!

Beauty and the Beast Nails

Today I have a manicure inspired by Beauty and the Beast to share. This was actually done quite some time ago when it was re-released in theaters, but I'm terribly late in sharing. The nail design is based on Belle's yellow ball gown, and on the ring fingers I painted a small rose detail. A fairly simple design, but I think it turned out cute and I enjoyed wearing it. :)
For the light yellow I used China Glaze Lemon Fizz. The tips are NYC French White with Orly Shining Star. Details were done with Art Deco and Jordana stripers.
