Pink and Purple Leopard

Back with some nail art :) I used I'm a Belieber from Nicole by OPI, Lacey Lilac from Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, and an Ulta magenta with no label to make the gradiant (I didn't have a sponge at hand, so I used an eraser lol) and then covered with Finger Paints Sparkle Top Coat. Once that tried I was going to stamp over it, but I still haven't got the hang of full nail designs so I switched to free handing some leopard spots with Art Deco Black. I like how it turned out :D

Digital

When doing my nails I decided I wanted something different from the blues and greens I've been wearing lately. Something bright, shiny, and PINK! So I went for one of my favorites, Sally Hansen HD Digital. It seems to get passed over in this collection for the duo-chromatic polishes, but it really is a knock out color. Super bright shimmery hot pink with a pretty even balance of blue and red tones to it. It is reflects mostly pink, although if you look very closely in the sun there is tiny blue and gold micro shimmer. From ones I have and what I've read, other HDs tend to be on the sheer side and are often layered over black, but this is opaque in 2-3 coats. I have on 3 just so i could get all my nails as even as possible. It looks nice in the bottle, but is truly a knock out on the nail.

And then just for fun..(well actually this is pretty scary!)
Aaah! A nail lovers worst nightmare! Haha this has to be mislabled or a translation error, or else eek.  Pliers, a screw driver, and a box cutter?? I'll stick with my nail file thank you...O___O

I may add on to this manicure, and if it turns out alright I'll put up pictures. But for now, thats what I have to share. :)

**EDIT**
I added tips to my ring as an accent finger! I used two Wet N' Wilds,  Black Creme and Sparked.

Drool List 2/6

One thing I love is seeing wish/want lists of people. I think its fun to see what other cool things people have been eyeing so I decided I might occasionally do it :) I'm going to call these my "Drool Lists" because  these are the products I've been salivating over. Hehe gross sorry. But here's a couple things I think are super cool and would just love to get my sticky mitts on.

Image from Peripera

Peripera nail polish- The polishes from the Korean brand look beautiful from what I've seen, but I will admit...I'm dying for the cat bottles. They also have Rose nail polish which comes in a lovley bottle and is a few dollars less, but its not the same as kitties :3 Also they're advertised as having a perfumed scent.
Scent, colors, and quality aside.....I need the bottles!

Hello Kitty Gnome Tote- I'm a total HK sucker. She's just adorable, and I love this tote. The mushrooms and hat are so cute and I find them kind of funny. Although at $60 I don't see myself buying this anytime soon and have other things topping it on my want list. If it goes on sale though..I will be very tempted.

Image from CrispyCones

Cone Shaped Pizza- I have never seen anything like this! O_O It looks so yummy though, and very portable. I wonder if thats all cheese in the middle...

Image from Topshop

Giant Pansy Stripe Bodycon Dress- For some reason when I saw Rai from Blargle Fargle post a picture of this dress I was so taken with it. It's something I would never pick out myself, but something about it I just find so awesome. I rarely wear dresses and if I do for some event, its usually black. (Except for a blue one I have) But nothing this loud and though I have NO idea where I would wear this I love it all the same.

OPI Nicki Minaj Collection- I NEED THIS. NEEEEED IT. I'm a huge Nicki Minaj fan and these colors are hot. I was immediately attracted to the 3 cremes (tealll!!) but from swatches I really love all of them.  And its Nicki! I would probably buy it even if I thought the colors were crap. I know some people are not a fan of these celebrity collections OPI is doing but so far I'm digging them.

Betsey Johnson Tin Can Rose Print Heels- These are gorgeous. I love Betsey Johnson and I have several jewelry pieces that I adore. Again like the dress, I have no idea where I'd ever wear them but they sure are cute. I'd probably just stare at them because they make me happy. That blue shade is right up my alley and I really like the color with the pink roses. I want this print on my nails!

Fluffy Chenille Chicks- I want hundreds of these. I want to build an army in my room. Hundreds of fluffy little baby chickens everywhere o-o

Well those are some of my loves lately and here's to hoping some of them can be mine one day! ;D

Iceberg Lotus

I have finally been reunited with my camera! Yay! After wearing For Audrey for a week (or more!!!) I finally changed it up. Though I had a few application problems with For Audrey initially it ended up smooth and beautiful. I absolutely love teals and blues as well as light cremes so it was a big hit for me. After showers and hand washing and just wear in general, I had no chipping and a bit of tip wear, but nothing too bad. Definitely a polish I will be using often.
Anywho, this is about what I'm wearing currently which is Iceberg Lotus from Nicole by OPI. This polish is gorgeous and probably one of my favorites. A gorgeous green teal shade packed with shimmer, and some duo-chrome. As usual with duo-chrome (I thought that was one word but my spell check keeps yelling at me...hmm. I'll just stick with a hyphen for now) the colors are more pronounced on the bottle with green, blue, purple, and even gold. In my opinion, Iceberg Lotus is a perfect peacock polish.

  I'm starting to make a big dent in it! I may need to get a back-up D:

Instead of a more smooth gradient duo-chrome, this polish is more flecked. It's hard to see the gold on the nail, but the blue shows clearly and the purples a bit more shy, but definitely on the nail. Application wise, I find it to be a bit difficult. It's pretty sheer but builds well in 2-4 coats. I have 4 on now because my nails are fairly long and makes VNL more obvious and I like polishes to be opaque. Shorter nails could probably get away with 2-3.  Another issue I find is that it dries at the speed of snail. I did each coat pretty thin and allowed 5-10 minutes of drying time before each coat, but even after quick-dry top coat it still got dents after in hour or so. I have seen other bloggers say this dries fairly quickly for them so maybe it's my bottle? I'm not sure but regardless the wait is worth it for this color for my opinion. The bright flecks and shimmer with the slight color change is super pretty, and you will want to keep looking at your nails. I know I am at least!
But enough blabbering, and on to the pictures :}

Blue shimmah

Purple :3

 SUPER shimmery in the sun

If you can pick this beauty up, I definitly recommend it! A sheer layer would look nice over other colors, and I really want to see it over black myself. But that's all for now, so until next post. :}

Sick and camera-less :/

I haven't posted in a while, a result of being sick and not having a camera :(
For the last 4 days I've had China Glaze For Audrey on and its holding up really well. No chips and minimal tip wear. (Mostly on my right thumb...Texting is to blame) I'm not sure if I should do a post on this mani because by the time i take pictures it will be after a week. Hmm. Maybe since almost everyone in blogging world knows and owns this color, I'll show a picture of its wear. Not sure yet.
I also have a Beauty and the Beast inspired manicure to post. (Wow I haven't updated in a while!) Which I snapped a few quick photos of, so I will upload them once i have my camera again.

So I'll make this short because I have no pictures to share, and hopefully be back soon.
